I watched one korea-american on YouTube in my age to share her morning routine, and it inspired me to be an early bird again. I decided to go to bed before midnight and waked up at 6:30 in the morning. It did make slight change for my life.

“A healthy, low-stress, [and] focused morning routine sets the tone for the whole day,” clinical psychologist Ryan Howes, Ph.D., tells SELF.

1. Grabbing Oatly milk latte

I fell in love with Oatly milk and could not live without it, every time I entered into Starbucks, I ordered hot latte and altered the milk into Oatly 100%. Having some caffeine at 7:00 really refresh my mind.

Also, the moment remains quiet and easily to focus on work in coffee shop. My productivity enhances a lot and finishes much academic reading materials in a short period.

2. Get out of the room immediately

It would be harder if you stayed in the same space, there are much more chances to re-sleep and fail to have a wonderful morning.

There are much more benefits to be an early bird, not only physical, emotional one, etc. Take productivity for example:

Enhance the productivity

  • Having more time to focus on important tasks while the rest of the world is asleep. This also translates to fewer interruptions.
  • Brains tend to be most alert in the morning. If you’re able to focus without interruptions early in the day, you’ll get more done.
  • You tend to make better decisions and think more clearly in the morning than in the afternoon and evening. Setting your goals first thing will help you achieve them.
  • If you can manage to get out of bed early, you’ll find that you have more energy throughout the day. It seems counterintuitive, but there are countless testimonials.

As receiving much more pros from getting up ealrly, I recommend you to wake up early at least once a week to notice what the difference happened and how it affected your life in a better way. Good luck!
